Tutexx Refunds & Cancellations Policy
At Tutexx, we strive to provide the best possible learning experience for students while ensuring fairness to parents and teachers. This Refunds & Cancellations Policy explains the conditions under which refunds may be issued and how cancellations are handled.
1. General Guidelines
- All refund and cancellation requests must be made through support@tutexx.com or via the official Tutexx app/website.
- Refunds are processed only through the original mode of payment.
- Tutexx reserves the right to deny refund requests if terms are not followed.
2. Student/Parent Cancellations
Single Session Bookings
- Cancellations made 24 hours or more before after buying Recorded Classes/Notes → Full refund.
- Cancellations made less than 24 hours → No refund.
Subscription Plans / Packages
- Cancellation within 7 days of purchase → Full refund.
- Cancellation after 7 days → No refund.
No-Show by Student
- If a student does not attend quizzes or watch recorded classes → No refund.
3. Teacher Cancellations
- If a teacher cancels a tuition, it will be counted in his clicks on the Apply For Tuition button.
- If no response comes from the Student/Parent, it won't be counted and a full refund will be issued on the same date next year.
- If a teacher cancels or ignores more than 3 requests — No Refund.
4. Technical Issues
- If the issue is caused by the student's/parent's device or internet → No refund.
5. Refund Processing
- Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days.
- Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method.
- Service fees, taxes, or payment gateway charges (if any) may be deducted.
6. Non-Refundable Cases
- Dissatisfaction with results (academic performance depends on effort and consistency).
- Misuse of the platform or violation of Terms & Conditions.
7. Disputes
- All disputes will be handled by the Tutexx Support Team.
- If unresolved, disputes will fall under the jurisdiction of Lucknow, India courts.
